FireStones - A Pleasing Alternative to a log fire

FireStones for those with contemporary decor, for those with a modern flair, for those yearning for an alternative to the ubiquitous gas log and for those who just want something different.

FireShapes are made from the same high-heat resistant ceramic-bonded refractory material we use in the making of our gas logs - they will not explode like real stones when placed in a fire. Standard sets are available in the popular sizes, or in four different assortment packs. FireShapes sets are used on our custom pan burners for single face, double face and multi-sided fire pits and fireplaces. Please contact us with your dimensions and set composition desires if you do not see anything to your liking from our offering.

FireStones sets and assortment packs are available in single colors Natural Color (tannish gray, the base material color) and seven Ceramic Stain colors, including White, Black, Dark Gray, Light Gray, Beige, Brown and Adobe Red. Fire Stone Assortment Packs

FireStones assortment packs are sized by the surface area each assortment covers when placed flat and touching. Determine the base area to cover, then add additional layers as desired. For example, a 24" Custom Pan Burner is 24" x 12", or 2 sq. ft.

Layer one = 2 - STA1 + 1 - STA2 (.75 + .75 + .5 = 2.0 sq. ft.)
Layer two = 2 - STA2 + 1 - STA3 (.5 + .5 + .5 = 1.5 sq. ft.)
Layer three = 2 - STA3 (.5 + .5 = 1.0 sq. ft.)

STA4 Extra Large Stones and STA1 Large Stones are great for creating stacks for Outdoor Fire Pits.

Ceramic Color Options

1) Ceramic Stain produces a transparent, non-uniform appearance as it absorbs into the material's pores, rather than merely covering the surface of the shape, like paint does.

2) Unlike paint, Ceramic Stain will not burn away under fire. Ceramic Stain will age gracefully.

3) Color appearance may vary from piece to piece, enhancing the uniqueness of our products.

Geo Fire Ball & Fire Shape Kits

We recognize that "usual" gas logs are not for everyone. Many people have homes with modern or contemporary decor in which logs would be out of place. Our latest innovations are vent-free versions of these alternative styles.

Each of the objects in the ALTERNA line are made from the same fire-proof material from which we make our gas logs. The objects are available in a variety of colors. Vented sets are intended for use with our Custom Pan Burner and/or Custom Embers Pan Burner. Vent-free sets have their own special chassis/burner/control assembly for each type. ALTERNA vented sets can be outfitted with our "EASY" control systems; ALTERNA vent-free sets are available with either black or stainless steel chassis, and are equipped standard with "EASY" controls.

FireBalls sets are available in Natural Color (tannish gray, the base material color) and seven ceramic stain colors made from Rasmussen's proprietary formulation, including White, Black, Dark Gray, Light Gray, Beige, Brown and Adobe Red.
